Virtual Theatrical ("VT") creates new audience experiences and new modes of storytelling. It integrates live performing arts with motion picture processes and emerging digital technologies. It creates audience experiences which are original, accessible, and which reach people in the way they are becoming accustomed to consume their media.
What VT does:
- Adapts live theatre to the current and emerging digital production environment
- Updates the presentation of live theatre and other performing arts, to reach a young, current audience.
- Explores new artistic, creative expression made possible by emerging digital technologies. These include phenomena such as social media, live chat, on-demand viewing, advances in game and VR experiences, changing audience preferences, and more.
- Stimulates new, original voices and creators. We help with the development of original stage plays and film scripts which focus on compelling human stories, and immerse audience in the exprience.
- Develops methods to adapt emerging technologies to the production and presentation of live theatre and filmed media, and combines both into the VT format. This encourages new ways of expression and presentation.
- Streamlines video & motion picture production processes.
- Creates original productions which have both immersive and interactive potential.
The VT concept is most appropriate for original presentations which reach for a new form of storytelling from the ground up. Established, traditional stage and screen plays can be adapted as well.
